A quick adventure in contributing to free and open source software such as Inkscape

Just sharing a quick but meaningful adventure a couple of months ago in contributing to open source software with the helpful Inkscape community.

The fix is mainly for tweaking Inkscape's build process in Windows. Special thanks to Martin Owens and René de Hesselle for lending a hand and making me feel welcome to the community!
